Modern R&B vocalist Bahja Rodriguez joined up with the OMG Girlz at age 12. Although pop-R&B group, co-developed by Xscape’s Tameka Cottle, released many singles and continued some high-profile trips, they break up in March 2015, before these were able to concern an recording. Rodriguez quickly got on her ft as an unbiased solo designer and had a small number of singles — including “Jealous Type,” “Lipstick,” and “Following One” — out by the finish of 2015. Stylistically, these songs were within the sleek, understated world of Jhené Aiko and Tinashe. Additionally, Rodriguez released It Gets Better, a seven-track EP that presented Jacob Latimore on “Trip or Die.”
