Bad Powers

Expansive, atmospheric, and undeniably visceral, hard-hitting Fresh York-based experimental rock outfit Poor Powers utilize components of post-punk, avant metallic, and traditional underground noise rock to unleash a robust surprise of shape-shifting discontent that blends the artisan unpredictability of Trust FORGET ABOUT and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum using the primal histrionics from the Jesus Lizard and Big Dark. Created by ex-Made Out of Infants users Brendan Tobin (acoustic guitar), Cooper (bass), and Matthew Egan (drums), along with ex-Family Curse vocalist Megan Tweed, the quartet released its eponymous debut studio room album through THE FINISH Records in Sept 2012.
