Backyard Tire Fire

Located in Bloomington, IL, Backyard Wheel Fire can be an alt-country trio led by singer, songwriter, slip guitarist, and previous Brother Jed member Ed Anderson. Bassist Matt Anderson (Ed’s sibling) and drummer Tim Kramp full the group, whose music pulls from folk, nation, and blues customs. The band released an eponymous recording, 2003’s Backyard Wheel Open fire, before partnering with O.We.E. Information for the discharge of Live in the Georgia Theater, a lively concert recording extracted from a display on Oct 23, 2002. Pub Room Semantics adopted in 2005, your skin and Bone fragments EP in 2006, and Vagabonds and Hooligans in 2007. The second option recording generated an unparalleled quantity of press for the bandmates, who quickly found themselves starting for famous brands Jason Isbell and Lynyrd Skynyrd while playing up to 200 shows annually. Backyard Wheel Fire then came back in 2008 using the Places We Resided, an analog recording that combined guitar-driven rock tracks with plaintive piano ballads.
