Bachue

Bachue is a modern Celtic duo formed by vocalist/harpist Corrina Hewat and pianist/guitarist David Milligan. The group mixes traditional Scottish folk with jazz, utilizing their formal trained in jazz to modernize the music of their homeland. Hewat achieved an honors level in Jazz & Modern Music at the town of Leeds University of music, and examined with acclaimed Irish harpist Maire Ni Chathasaigh. She was a finalist in the 1995 Youthful Traditional Musician of the entire year competition in Scotland, shows personal Celtic harp lessons, and composes music for film, radio, and tv. Milligan received a post-graduate level in jazz and provides played with performers like Artwork Farmer, Scott Hamilton, and Pal DeFranco, together with his function in Bachue. The duo released their U.S. debut, A PARTICULAR Smile, in 1999.
