Baby Namboos

The trip-hop group Baby Namboos includes programmer/songwriter Mike Porter, vocalists Claude Williams, Leo Coleing and Aurora Borealis, drummer Mad-dog and bassist Julian Brooke. Porter started the music group in 1998, when he visited NEW YORK to go to his cousin Tricky, who urged his musical explorations. Immediately after, Porter and his friend Coleing started recording inside a Manchester studio room, adding band people on the way. Tricky continuing to provide assistance and encouragement, performed on several paths, and released the infant Namboos’ debut recording Ancoats 2 Zambia by himself Durban Poison imprint.
