Babe the Blue OX (Package) formed in Brooklyn in 1991 when Midwesterners Tim Thomas (guitar, vocals) and Rose Thomson (bass, vocals) relocated into Hanna Fox’s apartment and persuaded her to try out drums. Their 1st single, “ALMOST ALWAYS THERE IS Room for just one Even more, Honey,” made an appearance on Stamp and demonstrated their Captain Beefheart undertake indie rock and roll; the trio uses jazz, sludge rock and roll and punk to screw up their pop tunes. Authorized to Homestead, they released the “Poultry Head Bone tissue Sucker” solitary in 1992, [Package] as well as the Je m’Appelle Babe EP in 1993, and Color Me Babe in 1994.
