b. Harris Seaton, 3 Sept 1944, Kingston, Jamaica, Western world Indies. Seaton, occasionally referred to as ‘Bibby’, was prompted to enter the music business by Boris Gardiner, who asked him to sing in an organization referred to as the Tempo Aces. When his vocal abilities attracted the eye of Coxsone Dodd, the manufacturer took him towards the studio room and documented ‘Just You’.
