Aynsley Lister

b. Britain. This precociously talented UK blues guitarist found the device at age eight, and within five years got played his 1st gig. The teenage Lister used fellow bluesman Coco Montoya on a journey to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, California and after piecing together a music group documented his debut recording in 1996. Lister offered this album as well as the live follow-up at concerts, where stage he was starting to attract the eye of bigger brands. He authorized a recording agreement using the German label Ruf Information and documented his debut for the label with support from Jonny Dyke (keyboards), Matt Kay (bass), and Wayne Proctor (drums). Guitarist Walter Trout produced a visitor appearance on the cover edition of Gary Moore’s ‘Since I Met You Baby’. The follow-up Everything I WANT, documented with Kay and Proctor, was Lister’s American debut and helped promote his name beyond his Western fanbase. The recording, like its forerunner, was comprised mainly of Lister originals. The curiously entitled live established Supakev N Pilchards implemented in 2002. All Or Nothing at all featured a fresh line-up from the Aynsley Lister Music group, with Adam Townend (bass) and Alex Thomas (drums) support Lister on another solid group of originals along with a blistering cover edition of Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Crosstown Visitors’. Thomas was eventually changed by ex-Kula Shaker drummer Paul Winter-Hart.
