A:xus

Though the majority of his productions have appeared on Chicago labels, producer/DJ Austin Bascom is in fact located in Toronto. Bathing in a number of noises in Canada’s metropolitan hub, Bascom was affected by not merely home and techno but electro, spirit, acidity jazz, and hip-hop. He started releasing his materials in 1995, and made a popularity for lush underground home with membership favorites (documented as Abacus) for just two of Chicago’s best-loved dance brands, Assistance and 83 Western world. In 1999, his initial A:xus creation, the atmospheric samba-house trim “Baghdad Cafe (Callin’ U),” became just one more award for DJs and membership fans as well. In early 2000, the full-length Soundtrack forever became the very first single-artist full-length released by Assistance.
