Axe was a difficult rock-band from Florida, originally formed in the past due ’70s by past users of Babyface. The lineup experienced originally been Bobby Barth (acoustic guitar, lead vocals), Edgar Riley (keyboards, support vocals), Mike Turpin (bass), and Bob Kilometers (drums). Later on, Mike Osbourne was added as second guitarist, and Teddy Mueller changed Kilometers on drums. They released three albums of refined pomp-metal, and reached the graphs making use of their third, Giving, but Osbourne was wiped out in an car accident in 1984. After Axe disbanded, Barth became a member of Blackfoot before mounting Axe once again late within the ’80s with help from Andy Parker, previously the drummer for UFO.
