Avishai Cohen

Trumpeter/composer Avishai Cohen is a forward-thinking musician that has performed in a variety of ensembles blending avant-garde jazz, post-bop, klezmer, rock and roll, and globe music because the ’90s. Blessed in Israel, Cohen was thinking about music from a age group and by his teenagers was an associate of the Youthful Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra. The next year, he collected the same ensemble (with bassist Barak Mori changing Revis) for his second ECM work, Cross My Hand with Silver.
