After splitting with pop-punk band Crimson Car Wire in ’09 2009, singer Evan Lester (who changed his stage name to Evan Couture) and drummer Josh Cutlip formed the hardcore band Avion Roe. Bassist Sean Humphrey and guitarist Jordan Modro finished the four-piece. The Dallas, Tx band documented its self-produced debut, The Artwork of Fiction, in 2011, after just four weeks in the studio room, and gained improved exposure within the Vans Warped Tour.
