Automatic Loveletter

With her throaty pipes and anthemic songwriting, Juliet Simms logged many years being a solo artist before forming Automatic Loveletter in 2007. Drummer Daniel Currier, bassist Sean Noll, and guitarists Joe Nelson and Tommy Simms curved out the lineup, as well as the group spent almost a year playing the Tampa Bay membership circuit before proceeding into the documenting studio room with emo-pop manufacturer Matt Squire. Auto Loveletter got commissioned Squire to record a complete album, however the task was eventually scaled down, with many of the completed songs appearing within the Recover EP in 2007. Using the support of Epic Information, Auto Loveletter spent the majority of 2008 on the highway. Recover was reissued afterwards that year within a promotional tie-in with Scorching Topic, but relationships between Epic as well as the music group quickly became strained, using the label frequently requesting Simms to rewrite a few of her materials. Automatic Loveletter ultimately switched labels, this time around partnering with Sony Individual Network, and Juliet Simms drafted a fresh batch of tunes to record with maker Josh Abraham. The effect was Truth or Dare, which designated the band’s full-length debut in June 2010. The recording also presented the band’s fresh lineup, including Clint Fowler and Ryan Metcalf as well as the two Simms siblings.
