Biography
A Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who landed a high 10 hit in 1975 using a cover edition from the Jay Stevens’-penned country-pop/soft rock and roll weeper “Rocky,” the multi-talented Austin Roberts in addition has written for tv as well as the stage. Roberts offered as the business lead vocalist with many groups through the past due ’60s and ’70s, like the Buchanan Brothers and Arkade, the last mentioned of whom have scored popular in the first ’70s with “The Morning hours in our Lives.” Roberts produced his second single Billboard appearance in 1975 using the strike “Something’s Wrong beside me,” which peaked at amount 12, and in 1983, Roberts and Bobby Hart penned the tune “Over You” for the film Sensitive Mercies, and had been compensated with nominations for both an Oscar along with a Golden World.
