The pop-dance trio Aurora comprises Georgia-born sisters Lauren, Racquel, and Rachel Smith. Created and raised beyond Atlanta, the three siblings spent their formative years using horses, serving within the cheerleading squad, and leading compliment and worship at their chapel. Only 11 weeks apart in age group, Racquel informed the group’s documenting label Pamplin, “We’ve certainly experienced the ‘triplet’ encounter…truthfully, Rachel and I haven’t ever shared experiences that didn’t include Lauren. We live a collective existence!” The trio authorized with Pamplin Information and released their debut recording in 2000. Their sophomore task Larger Than Us adopted in 2001.
