Audrey Assad

Vocalist/songwriter Audrey Assad, a fresh York local, began her music trip after relocating to Florida in age 18. It had been there the fact that deeply religious Assad made a decision to focus most of her energies on her behalf beliefs. A flurry of regional displays and worship occasions followed, producing a proceed to Nashville and a five-song EP known as Fireflies that drew the interest of CCM label Sparrow Information. Assad continuing to hone her build, writing tracks for various other performers and touring with Dove Award-winning musician Chris Tomlin. Her full-length debut for Sparrow, THE HOME You’re Building, came on July 13, 2010. It do well commercially and critically, paving just how for 2012’s Heart, which mainly featured writing function from Assad but also included efforts from Matt Maher, Christopher Stevens, Derek Webb, and Sandra McCracken. An unbiased recording, Fortunate Fall, made an appearance in August 2013, accompanied by Inheritance in early 2016.
