Crossing the range between new wave and glam, Audra & the Antidote started in the summertime of 1996 in Nashville, TN. Known because of their bizarre theatrics on-stage, they hardly ever quite match the local picture there because they juggled brands and bandmembers. The group been around in one type or another until vocalist Audra Coldiron uncovered bassist Edwin Benson. He became a member of the band along with his wife, keyboardist Kim Benson, in 1997 and remained for 3 years until he was changed by Emmy Davies. Shortly Stephen Lamm agreed upon to play electric guitar after completing for their unpredictable lineup enough situations, and drummer J.T. Terrell became a member of in 2000. This finalized the lineup because of their debut record, Hello, released separately in 2001.
