Vocalist/songwriter Audra Kubat became among the Electric motor City’s select feminine voices through the later ’90s, incorporating folk-rock and indie pop stylings. She and her group Amazing Amazon became children act among regional night clubs and coffeehouses, also getting airplay on Detroit radio. The music group released a self-titled debut in fall 1999 while Kubat also preserved her solo position, delving into her youth days.
