Home / Biography / Audionom

The Swedish experimental rock collective Audionom were shaped in Stockholm by previous members of Apparat (an area group, not the German band) and PVC, their members including but in no way limited by Johan Hinders (vocals, synthesizer), Peter Backebo (guitar, backing vocals), and Paul Sigerhall (drums). (Martin Malm, who supplied movies to accompany Audionom’s live shows, was also counted as the official person in the music group.) Audionom documented many singles for discharge in Sweden between 1999 and 2002, and these recordings had been gathered jointly onto an record known as Retrospektiv. By enough time that Keith Abrahamsson, an A&R consultant for American indie label Kemado Information, been to Sweden and occurred upon the record, Audionom had split up, although their associates continued to interact on different tasks, and a reunion had not been eliminated. Kemado released Retrospektiv in the U.S. on Feb 20, 2007.
