Attack in Black

Canadian rock and roll outfit Assault in Dark was shaped in the first 2000s in Welland, Ontario, Canada. Early evaluations of their music had been made to intense post-hardcore rings like Gainesville, FL’s WARM WATER Music, however the quartet later on integrated even more of a folk advantage with their punk musings and stated as much impact from works like Neil Adolescent as they do Refused. Assault in Black contains vocalist/guitarist Daniel Romano, his drummer sibling Ian Romano and vocalist/guitarist Spencer Burton; Ian Kehoe changed original bass participant Matt Ellis following a release of the self-titled EP. The music group authorized to Toronto-based label Dine Only Information in the springtime of 2006, becoming a member of a roster that included performers like Moneen, Town and Color, and Bedouin Soundclash. (Actually, some people of Assault in Black offered within the support music group for Alexisonfire guitarist/vocalist Dallas Green’s part project Town and Color.) The Widows EP and North Cities 7″ both surfaced before Assault in Black released the full-length Relationship via Dine Only in July 2007, which presented a healthy mixture of rock and roll, folk, and yes, some punk. The Curve of the planet earth adopted that fall exclusively as an electronic launch and limited-edition vinyl fabric.
