Atlantis Black

Created and raised within the forests of Pa, Atlantis Dark didn’t opt to step in to the music market until she 1st heard PJ Harvey. Fascinated with the English chanteuse’s gothic indie rock and roll and emotionally fresh approach, Black produced an end in New Orleans before investing in a electric guitar and moving out to LA. Composing for over per year in her house, she moved back again to Pa to finish college before moving out towards the East Coastline. Finding yourself in NEW YORK, she started playing single acoustic sets throughout the East Community. Her dark and passionate music begun to get a great response, and she began shifting between acoustic and electrical pieces as she performed bigger and larger clubs in the town. Piecing together her very own debut EP in 2001, she released the record herself and provided it a restricted release in regional record shops with shows. Keeping per day job being a cartographer to invest in her projects, the next phase was a far more broadly released record. After an appearance on the annual CMJ Music Marathon that fall, she began documenting another EP. Released another year, IN MY OWN Bed marked another collection through the singer/songwriter.
