Athenaeum

Athenaeum enjoyed small achievement in the past due ’90s, once the choice rock and roll group cracked the Billboard Hot 100 with “What We Didn’t Find out.” Produced in Greensboro, NC, the music group was mainly the brainchild of vocalist/guitarist Tag Kano and drummer Nic Dark brown, although Kano became the only continuous member through the entire group’s profession. Guitarist Gary Brewster and bassist Alex McKinney ultimately climbed aboard, and Athenaeum self-released an eponymous LP in 1995. Quickly thereafter, the quartet agreed upon with Atlantic Information and released 1998’s Radiance, which extended the band’s market and allowed Athenaeum to tour for quite some time. With newcomer Jeremy Vogt changing Nic Dark brown (who still left the music group in 2000 to wait university), Athenaeum released a self-titled sophomore record in Sept 2001. The record didn’t ignite much curiosity, and by the finish of the entire year, Atlantic got dropped the music group from its roster. Still a reasonably popular attract NEW YORK, Athenaeum continuing touring and released a rarities compilation, Hourglass, before officially phoning it quits in 2004.
