b. Wayne Elliott, USA. Ateleia may be the single task of Brooklyn-based musician Elliott, a respected figure on the brand new York avant underground in the first years of the brand new millennium. Acquiring the uncommon name from a number of legume, his documented result as Ateleia explores minimalist pop, ambient, electronica and psychedelia, with examples and real tools deconstructed and reconstructed to create hypnotic computer produced soundscapes, identical in shade to the task of early 90s ambient pop pioneers Seefeel. Collaborators on his Ateleia recordings possess included David Grubbs, David Daniell, Jon Philpot and Sadek Bazaraa, as well as the albums have already been released on Xeric, Desk Of SUN AND RAIN, and Elliott’s personal Antiopic imprint.
