This one-off electronic project was inaugurated by Vince Clarke (b. Vincent John Martin, 3 July 1960, South Woodford, London, Britain), previous synthesizers and key pad participant in Depeche Setting and Yazoo, and ex-Undertones vocalist Feargal Sharkey (b. Sean Feargal Sharkey, 13 August 1958, Londonderry, North Ireland). The producing single, ‘By no means By no means’, reached the united kingdom #4 4 placement in past due 1983. No recording was ever documented from the duo. After many related liaisons with Neil Arthur of Blancmange, The The’s Matt Johnson and Paul Quinn of Orange Juice, Clarke discovered a well balanced rapport with Andy Bell in Erasure, while Sharkey departed for the united states and a single career.
