Ashphalt Ballet

This US heavy metal/‘biker-rock’ outfit was heavily influenced with the Cult, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith (their name comes from a description of the motorcyclist crashing and skidding along the street at broadband). Fronted by gravel-throated vocalist Gary Jefferies, they shortly built up a little but loyal pursuing through incessant gigging in the Los Angeles club and membership circuit. Produced in NORTH PARK in 1988, the line-up was finished by Danny Clarke (electric guitar), Julius J. Ulrich (electric guitar), Terry Phillips (bass) and Mikki Kiner (drums). Jeffries was ex-Broken Guideline, while the various other members from the band had proved helpful jointly as Mistreated. Their debut for Virgin Information in 1992 epitomized their no-nonsense, raunchy rock and roll ‘n’ roll design.
