Ashen Mortality

Ashen Mortality met up in 1993 between former Seventh Angel member Ian Arkley (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Melanie Bolton (keyboardist/vocalist). Accompanied by bassist Tim Cooper and drummer Brian Jones, the Birmingham-based quartet debuted their cross of black metallic and goth on the self-released demonstration within weeks of their development. After putting your signature on to Forsaken Information in 1995, Ashen Morality’s first full-length Sleepless Remorse arrived the following 12 months, amidst a range of fill-in drummers. With skins alternative George Aytoun taking part 1998, the band’s second recording Your Caress premiered that same 12 months.
