Asguard

Not to end up being confused with several worldwide rock clothes named Asgard (there’s 1 in Holland, 1 in Canada, 1 in Germany, and about and about), the music group whose name is spelled Asguard having a “U” comes from the town of Mogilev, within the former Soviet Republic of Belarus. Primarily shaped as “Old Castle,” in 1996, by vocalist/bassist Alexander Afonchenko, business lead guitarist Andrey Tselobenok, and tempo guitarist Alexander Krotov, the soon-to-be-renamed Asguard complemented its lineup with drummer Sergey “Deceased” Tselobenok before documenting their first group of loss of life metal-based demos. A cope with regional metallic label Fatal Ecstasy noticed these released throughout Eastern European countries, and, after changing Krotov and Tselobenok with Oleg Maslakov and Yuriy Yurchenko, respectively, Asguard finished its debut record Summis Desiderantes Effectibus in 2000. This is accompanied by 2003’s even more dark metal-flavored Wikka EP, and, in 2004, another full-length excursion beneath the name of Dark Fire Land, and Asguard’s brand-new record firm, California’s This Dark Reign, made a decision to re-release Wikka using the band’s early demos as reward cuts.
