The band ARP (Always Prepared to Perform), comprising Orville Thomas, Patrick Hylton, Leon Gilbert, Roger Mitchell and Orand Rose-Green, initially performed beneath the guise of Tones Of Fidelity. They performed within an R&B design over current dancehall rhythms and by the middle-90s had been lauded from the press as ‘the following big factor’. Both Thomas and Hylton got sung together for several years, though it had not been until they connected up with Rose-Green that their dreams found fruition. ARP also liked particular success within the dancehall with, ‘Di Gal Dem Desire’ and in conjunction with U.T. Dread ‘Youths Dem Play’, using the ‘Cloak & Dagger’ tempo. In 1999, the music group joined Penthouse Information where they released ‘Temple FROM THE Lord’ and done an recording with maker Donovan Germain.
