Acquiring their cues through the Posies and Teenage Fanclub, Army Navy started producing sugary, melody-driven force play 2004. Vocalist Justin Kennedy released the group upon his proceed to LA, having remaining Seattle after playing alongside Ben Gibbard (the near future frontman of Loss of life Cab for Cutie) in the music group Pinwheel.
