Armoured Angel

Armoured Angel weren’t one among the 1st Australian death steel bands, these were among the genre’s 1st exponents anywhere on earth. Formed in the town of Canberra in 1984 by bassist Glen Fortune, the band battled to create headway through the entire 1980s, only owning a few demos and a semi-decent regional following for his or her troubles. The introduction of guitarist Matt Green and his performing drummer sibling Joel Green in the first ’90s finally arranged Armoured Angel on program for just two EPs, specifically 1992’s Stigmartyr and 1994’s Mysterium. The music group continued to tour America and European countries in 1995, but disintegrated the next 12 months when their programs to record a complete album with Getting rid of Joke’s Jaz Coleman generating suddenly dropped through. Against all chances, Fortune would resurrect Armoured Angel just as before a couple of years later on with the help of Yuri Ward (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Steve Luff (drums), and after putting your signature on with regional Warhead Information, the full-length Angel from the 6th Order premiered in 1999. Regrettably, the album didn’t attract much interest with its relatively dated and uninspired loss of life metal, resulting in another, seemingly last separation by 2001.
