Armistice

Providing up a heady mixture of alt-rock, reggae, mariachi, and People from france indie pop, Canadian genre-benders Armistice produced this year 2010 throughout the talents of Montreal singer/songwriter Béatrice Martin, who goes on the stage name Cœur de Pirate, and Bedouin Soundclash guitarist and vocalist Jay Malinowski. The duo released its eponymous debut EP, that was recorded by using associates from American hardcore punk clothing/mariachi revivalists the Bronx, in 2011.
