Given birth to and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel Rot started using “rock and roll en español” in Spain after teaming up with vocalist Alejo Stivel, drummer Manolo Iglesias, guitarist Julián Infante, and bassist Felipe Lipe in an area clothing called Tequila. Their initial record, Matrícula de Honor, emerged in 1978. The Spanish-Argentinian foursome disbanded in 1983 after issuing four information. Debajo del Puente became Rot’s single debut record, and highlighted the strike singles “Debajo del Puente ” and “Veneno.” Even so, ex-Los Abuelos de la Nada Andrés Calamaro became a member of him to put together a new music group called Los Rodríguez. They truly became a major amount within the Latin music picture after launching the effective Sin Documentos. The talented vocalist/guitarist/producer came back to his single profession in 1997.
