Ari Hest

Ari Hest became thinking about music while still an adolescent developing up in the Bronx. Though he’d used piano lessons as a kid, he trained himself how exactly to play your guitar, mainly by hearing information from his parents’ collection (Paul Simon) and option radio (Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews). While their studies at NYU, Hest strike the East Coastline college circuit, carrying out a variety of addresses and his personal material. Sunset Over Wish Street, his initial record for Downtown Information’ Mercer Road imprint, premiered in 2011. The next year, he came back with The Fireplace Has. In 2016, Hest became a member of legendary vocalist/songwriter Judy Collins because of their collaborative studio record Gold Skies Blue.
