Arco Iris

The brand new age/Latin jazz group Arco Iris formed in Argentina within the ’70s. Acquiring their name from the Spanish term for rainbow, the group was founded from the couple group of saxophonist Ara Tokatlian and percussionist Danais Tokatlian; at once the group’s lineup included Latin rock and roll maker and composer Gustavo Santaolalla. South American flutes and percussion and keyboards match Tokatlian’s sax focus on albums like 1993’s Sudamerica, 1998’s Serenity HELPS YOU TO SAVE the Rainbow and Serenity Pipes, that they re-released in 1999 independently Arco Label.
