Arc Angel released 1 sprawling record of bombastic and amazing album rock and roll in 1983 and flew back to the heavens. The music group stems from the mind of gifted vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jeff Cannata who do time with Adam Christian in the quasi-prog Jasper Wrath through the ’70s. With Arc Angel, the Connecticut citizen fabricates a completely melodic dreamscape of lofty dreams. Cannata writes the music and grips the lion’s talk about of the responsibilities on the guaranteed, eponymous debut. NY key pad whiz Jeff Bova of Length contributes some Baroque flourishes, and Apr Wine later protected an undiscovered Arc Angel jewel. Aspect one features the gleaming “Superstars” as well as the illicit “Tragedy,” both which rode the airwaves; aspect two showcases great record cuts just like the sterling “YET ANOTHER Romance” as well as the lamenting “Sidelines.” Dismissed being a Boston/Kansas clone, Arc Angel under no circumstances soared as high as much of its AOR brethren. A pity, as Cannata’s task shows huge potential.
