Aquarela Carioca

Founded by Nó Em Pingo D’água’s Mário Seve with percussion excel at Marcos Suzano (Lenine’s collaborator), the Aquarela Carioca militates within a noncommercial sector, having no definition relating to specific genres. They execute instrumental music that’s inspired by choro (shortly almost empty), rock and roll, samba, jazz, Indian, and traditional music. They released their initial record Aquarela Carioca in 1989, per year where they performed on the Free of charge Jazz Festival (Rio and São Paulo). The CDs Contos (1991) and Idioma (1996) implemented. In 1993, the group followed Ney Matogrosso within the present As Aparências Enganam within a live performance that was documented and released being a CD.
