Aquanote

Aquanote may be the single project of studio room hands and expressive songwriter Gabriel René. The child of the West Coastline jazzman, René paid attention to very much jazz-funk and spirit while we were young. His first immediate musical experience arrived in 1995, when he created Soulstice (with Andy Caldwell), a SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA band that combined programmed home with the live experience of acidity jazz. The group released an recording around the Om label (Illusion), and René started writing songs for any single task. He was after that authorized to the like-minded label Nude Music, which focuses on a fusion of jazz, funk, and home. For his Aquanote debut, 2002’s The Pearl, René known as on a range of musician connections he’d produced around SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, and a half-dozen woman vocalists.
