Mainly a duo — MC Ra LaMotta and his wife, vocalist Dana Diaz-Tutaan — but aided simply by a set of DJs (DJ Big Wiz, DJ Boo) and a percussionist (Guy Licata), ApSci (short for Applied Science) released their first album, OBTAIN IT Twisted, in the Australian Elefant Tracks label. Quannum ultimately purchased the group; OBTAIN IT Twisted was revamped, included several new monitors, and was released as Thanks a lot for Requesting in July 2005. In Feb of 2006, Dana starred in the starting of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim’s musical, Right here Lies Love.
