Antoine Mahaut

A proper traveled musician Mahaut spent amount of time in Amsterdam, Paris and Dresden. Around 1760 he fled lenders in Amsterdam and retired to a monastery in France. Being a flutist Mahaut’s technique was extremely advanced and acclaimed. The orchestral compositions had been also well-structured and astute. Styles of his functions included symphonies, concertinos, concertos for the flute, flute sonatas, flute and violin duets or sonatas, aswell as some vocal ratings and a theoretical function for the flute.
