Lo-fi Santa Cruz, CA-based indie rocker Dylan McKeever released his initial album, The Penguin League, beneath the Antarctica Takes It! moniker in 2006. Having a spinning cast of associates, McKeever’s homegrown, offbeat, but nonetheless accessible bedroom/notebook chamber pop provides drawn evaluations to likeminded performers such as Web page France, Sufjan Stevens, and Clap THE HANDS State Yeah. The band’s sophomore outing, Constellations, found its way to 2010.
