Anomoanon

The third area of the euphoniously capable Oldham clan is Ned Oldham–the other two being fraternal cohorts Will Oldham and Paul Oldham. Ned Oldham began a group known as the Anomoanon in 1997. Within the Oldham custom, Anomoanon will most surely web host a revolving ensemble of band people, but unlike Will, who’s known for his dour and repentant folk rock and roll, Ned Oldham’s task reflects even more of a southern rock and roll and country primary. His music appears to catch the southern rock and roll nature of Neil Youthful using a guitar-driven pulse that suits Ned’s twangy, extroverted tone of voice. The music group debuted in 1998 with Mom Goose, a full-length rendition of the traditional Mom Goose fairy stories (using a country-rock twist) which was probably as well dark for kids. Later within the same season, they released a seven-song EP known as The Summer Under no circumstances Ends. Both these albums had been released on the family members record label, Palace Information. The Anomoanon came back in 1999 with Robert Louis Stevenson’s A Child’s Backyard of Verses, which hewed to quite similar concept as their initial full-length. Going for a departure through the children’s-poetry theme, the Anomoanon released an eponymous record in early 2001.
