Annie Nightingale

b. 1 Apr 1942, London, Britain. Although most easily from the BBC Radio schedules from the 70s and on her behalf presentation of tv programme The Aged Grey Whistle Check, Nightingale has continued to be energetic within broadcasting to today’s. She started her profession in newspapers journalism, writing like a columnist for the Daily Express among additional magazines, before spending 12 years hosting The Demand Display on BBC Radio 1 (she was the 1st female presenter for the train station).
