Best known among the performers and guitarists from your mid-’90s indie rock and roll quartet Spent, vocalist/songwriter Annie Hayden continued with her music career following the group disbanded. Located in NEW YORK, Hayden functions as a piano specialist at Steinway Hall while also composing and recording tunes with her previous bandmates John Ruler and Ed Radich. Her debut record The Rub premiered in early 2001 by Merge, Spent’s previous label. After a four season hold off, her sophomore discharge, The Foe of Love premiered in 2005. A more sophisticated and organized record, it had been documented at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, NY, also called the house of Sesame Road.
