French folk-jazz balladeer Anis Kachohi was created in 1977 in Pontoise. With affects which range from Billie Vacation to Tom Waits to hip-hop, as a teenager he briefly researched piano before gravitating to acoustic guitar, later developing a ska music group dubbed K2R Riddim. After departing the group, Anis deserted his surname and started busking within the subways of Paris, ultimately putting your signature on on with supervisor Myriam Chiaramonti and relocating towards the French Antilles, honing his art at an area club known as The Marin.
