Blending jangly guitar pop, ’70s soft rock and roll, and tender psychedelia, Sweden’s Pet Daydream distill a broad mix of affects to their music. The duo of Daniel Fridlund Brandt and Alexander Wahl shaped in Gothenburg in 2014 and established to work documenting their debut EP. Released by American indie Jigsaw Information in early 2015, the four-song Easy Pleasures garnered reviews that are positive, earning them evaluations to everyone from Fleet Foxes to Fleetwood Macintosh. Their follow-up EP, Citrus, came one year afterwards in January 2016.
