Anima

The Brazilian prog rock-band Anima (Anima Dominum) was created from the necessity of several friends that wished to go to town and their ideas musically. José “Zé” Lima (from Terraço, a prog band that by no means released a Compact disc but was extremely popular in its hometown) and Paulo “Fredinho” Frederico sought out musicians with the capacity of satisfying this task. Afterward, David and Flávio finished the lineup as well as the music group released Tempus Stetisse. Because of too little money, this Compact disc was documented on 16-monitor in 50 hours. After a whole lot of shows, another CD premiered with a customized progressive rock and roll record label. There have been a whole lot of snags through the saving of Singularities, and its own completion was feasible only and solely due to the band’s perseverance. To complete the task (the music group was disturbed with the early leave of David), Cláudio Cepeda (who also performed in Terraço, Toque de Midas, Êxtase, as well as the Beatles cover music group Trend) was asked in. Along with his solve and affinity (besides being truly a great skill), he definitively conquered his put in place the music group. Flávio Araújo empty Anima to be able to surface finish his studies, as well as the music group sought out another participant. Ricardo Lima, a more developed musician (he used Guilherme Arantes and Vinícius Cantuária) surviving in New York, agreed upon on with the chance of getting into the music group. With a fresh name — the music group was now known as Anima Dominum — they documented the Compact disc The Reserve of Humor, with compositions which were partly motivated in Umberto Eco’s reserve The Name of the Rose. However, due to many complications, Anima Dominum disbanded, departing a unfilled space in the Brazilian prog rock and roll scene.
