Angry Salad


Hailing from Boston via Rhode Isle, Angry Salad proceeds the city’s custom of radio-friendly collegiate rock and roll. After formally learning to be a music group at Brown School in 1993 and earning that year’s WBRU Rock and roll Hunt in Providence, the group tripped on a protracted tour, and they made a decision to contact Beantown their head office. There they documented their debut discharge, 1995’s The Guinea Pig EP, that they marketed 10,000 copies of throughout their countrywide travels. The EP produced its way in to the CMJ Best 200, and gained a Greatest Debut Record nomination in the Boston Music Honours. Carrying on to tour, compose, and record in a prolific speed, by 1998 Angry Salad acquired enough demos because of their debut full-length record, tentatively entitled Bizarre Gardening Incident. During a remain in NY, the group seized as soon as and seen the A&R section of Blackbird Documenting Firm, a subsidiary label of Atlantic Information. Soon after offering the A&R section a duplicate of Bizarre Gardening Incident, Angry Salad acquired a cope with Atlantic Information. By using veteran manufacturer Tom Lord-Alge, the group transformed Bizarre Gardening Incident to their 1999 self-titled debut record; an EP, Guinea Pig, made an appearance early another year.
