Easthampton, MA-based country-punk Angry Johnny initial earned notoriety like a image artist, especially painting the cover to Dinosaur Jr.’s 1993 vintage Where You Been. Using the Killbillies — bassist Jim Joe Greedy and drummer Dwight Garbage — he debuted in 1996 with Hankenstein, adopted two years later on with What’s Therefore Funny?
