Biography
Active being a performer since her early adolescent years, Angela Fisher — who in addition has no longer by Angie Fisher — has toured and documented being a background vocalist for a large number of performers. One of the higher-profile performers Fisher has helped are Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, and Fishing rod Stewart. Being a single musician, she captured the ears from the Hidden Seaside label’s Steve McKeever, who eventually signed her towards the onetime house of kindred heart Jill Scott. Fisher’s initial one for the label, “I.R.S.,” was a bluesy retro-soul belter released in 2014. The melody was made by B. Slade.
