Angelo Notari

Before Notari still left Italy for Britain he previously contributed to Legname’s book of canzonets in 1608. When he found England he discovered a train station with family members of Prince Henry and by 1618 was operating to Prince Charles who became Ruler Charles II in 1625. Notari continued to be in the King’s support, at least tangentially, as an associate from the “Lutes and Voices” until Notari’s loss of life. It really is interesting that he’s considered by some to have already been a spy towards the Spanish courtroom singing in the Spanish Ambassador’s Xmas support in 1622. Notari’s most significant function was his “Primary musiche nuove” that was released in 1613. It includes monodies, canzonettas, and variants using one of Rore’s madrigals. The reserve is essential because through it Notari released advanced Italian solutions to Britain. He was also a compiler of Italian monodies.
